Buenas tardes guapas y guapos!

Hace algunos post os hablaba del estilo preppy. Esa manera de vestir de los estudiantes americanos de los institutos de clase alta previos al inicio de la universidad en los años 50. Americanas con bordados, ropa de polo, cricket, de navegación, lacrosse.... Aunque el auge de esta moda, actualmente, lo vivimos con la serie Gossip Girl. A mi me encanta este tipo de ropa, me parece muy chic. Os deseo un feliz fin de semana y hasta el lunes!

Some posts ago I talked about preppy style. I allude how american students get dressed to go to the high school. They were private-preparatory-schools before to access to the University during fifties.

Embroidered blazers, polo, cricket, sailing or lacrosse clothes... Although nowadays, the rise about this trend was with the Gossip Girl series. I love this type of clothes. In my opinion it is very chic. I wish you a happy weekend! See you on Monday!

Empecé a crear el look a partir de la falda, después elegí el bolso al ser del mismo tejido. Me gustó mucho el cardigan y al llevar la falda algunos de los motivos tribales en mostaza me pareció buena combinación. El collar con estampado similar el de la falda y los botines de pelo para suavizar el look junto con el gorro. Me encantó el resultado!

I start to create the look with the skirt. After that, I chose the bag due to it was the same cloth. I really liked the cardigan and I thought it fitted well with the tribal motifs in the skirt. The necklace is printed like the skirt. I used the boots and the hat to soften the look. I loved the result!
